In 2007, ADVANTAGES Digital Learning Solutions was founded by a small group of teachers and educators with a simple yet powerful goal — to provide children access to excellent academic content, irrespective of their zip code.
Our humble beginnings took shape during meetings in a coffee shop, complete with free WIFI and good lattes. It was there that we laid the foundation for our online school and digital platform, allowing our vision to unfold.
We commenced by enrolling a few displaced students who had limited options. Soon, we witnessed evidence that children could indeed achieve success with our alternative to traditional school programming. Our online courses and learning experiences gained significant success.
The program was nurtured with determination, sacrifices, and unwavering support from our families. We willingly left our salaried positions with the districts and universities we worked for, dedicating ourselves entirely to our new venture.
Initially aimed at creating change in our community, we soon realized that our impact could extend globally. Our journey has taken us across all 50 states in the US and to more than 30 countries, demonstrating the reach of our vision.
Today, the company and our acclaimed, accredited online school, ADVANTAGES School International, continue to be owned and operated by the same dedicated team of education professionals who initiated it all in 2007.
Since those formative stages, we have meticulously crafted and integrated digital components into a singular, highly effective system. Our learning technology and platform not only support our students but also offer flexibility in meeting the diverse needs of our partners globally.
